Privacy
Short version: the quote form on this site does not send your details to us. It composes a WhatsApp message that you send yourself.
This is a plain-language draft. It describes how the site works today and is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it is not a statement of compliance with any specific data protection regime.
How the quote form works
The quote form is not a normal web form. Nothing you type into it is transmitted to this website or stored in a database here. When you press the button, your browser assembles the details into a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp with that message ready to send. You choose whether to send it.
This means the details of your move — where you are moving from and to, the property type, the date, your name and any notes — are never received or held by this website. They exist in your WhatsApp conversation, on your device and on the recipient's, and in WhatsApp's systems under WhatsApp's own terms.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, email address or postal address.
- We do not have accounts, logins or profiles.
- We do not store your moving details in any database on this site.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, because we do not hold any.
- We do not send marketing messages, because we have no contact list.
Who your enquiry reaches
When you send the WhatsApp message, it reaches the number shown on the site. Today that is the site owner, who passes moving enquiries to a moving service provider so they can contact you about your move. If a commercial moving partner becomes active, enquiries may go to that partner directly, and that relationship is disclosed on the page where the enquiry is made.
In either case, only what you chose to put in the message is shared. Sharing it is the whole point of sending it — a provider cannot quote a move they know nothing about.
Analytics
We measure how the site is used so we know which pages are useful: page views, which pages lead to a quote request, and how many people click through to WhatsApp.
These measurements record what happened and on which page. They never carry your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you are moving between, or the notes you wrote. That separation is deliberate, not incidental.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and there is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If analytics is enabled it may set its own cookies or use local storage; you can block these in your browser settings without affecting how the site works.
Retention
We do not run a lead database, so there is nothing here to retain. Enquiry messages live in the WhatsApp conversation. Where any record of an enquiry is kept for handling it, the intended retention period is 180 days, after which it is deleted.
Links to other sites
Pages here may link to moving companies, building management resources or other external sites. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site under their privacy practices, which we do not control and have not reviewed.
Your requests
Because we hold so little, most requests are best directed at the right place: to have a message removed, delete it in WhatsApp and ask the recipient to do the same; for details you have given a moving company, contact that company. If you believe this site holds information about you and you want it removed, message us through Contact and we will act on it.
Changes
If how the site handles information changes — for example if a lead database is introduced — this page will be updated to describe the new behaviour before that change goes live.
