Terms
The important part in one sentence: your moving agreement is with the moving company, not with this website.
This is a plain-language draft written to describe the arrangement accurately. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should be treated as a working statement of how the site operates rather than a finished legal instrument.
1. What this site does
MoversInDubai.org publishes information about moving in Dubai and lets you send a moving enquiry to a moving service provider. That is the entire service it offers.
2. What this site does not do
MoversInDubai.org does not carry out moves. It does not own vehicles, employ movers, hold a moving or transport licence, or operate a warehouse. It is not a party to any moving job arranged through it.
3. Your contract is with the moving company
If a provider quotes you and you go ahead, the agreement for that work is between you and them. Pricing, scope, scheduling, crew, liability for your belongings, and any dispute about the work are all matters between you and the provider under their terms.
We are not an agent, broker or guarantor for any provider, and we do not hold money on behalf of either side.
4. We do not verify providers
We do not vet, verify, license, insure, endorse or accredit moving companies, and nothing on this site should be read as such. Checking a provider's licence, cover and suitability is yours to do before you commit. Our guides explain how — but a guide is not a guarantee.
5. Information on this site
Content here is general information about moving in Dubai, not advice about your specific situation. We work to keep it accurate and each page carries a last-reviewed date, but practices change and buildings differ.
Building and community requirements — move-in approvals, permitted hours, lift booking, deposits — are set by individual buildings and communities and are not uniform across Dubai. Where we describe them, we describe what is common. Always confirm current requirements with your own building or community management before relying on them.
6. No prices are published here
We do not publish moving prices, rates or estimates, because a figure given without knowing your volume and access would be a guess. Any price you receive comes from a provider and is their commitment, on their terms.
7. Commercial relationships
This is a commercial website. A moving company may hold a featured or sponsored partner position and receive enquiries generated here. Where that is the case it is labelled wherever the partner appears.
Commercial arrangements do not change our editorial content. We do not describe any company as "the best", and we publish no ranked list of providers.
8. Acceptable use
Use the enquiry form for genuine moving enquiries. Do not use it to send abusive, fraudulent or automated messages, and do not scrape or republish the content here as your own.
9. Availability and limitation
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing, conduct or work quality of any moving company — including one we passed your enquiry to. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. External links
We link to external sites where they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site develops — particularly if a commercial partner becomes active or the enquiry process changes. The current version is always the one on this page.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms go through Contact, using the business channel rather than the moving enquiry form.
